This area is basically the narrowest place to cross, but you might find better spots up or down stream. We hiked only to the first highest point and then returned. I have heard the trail is not maintained regularly so the trees may be there a while. This trail was recommended to us and we were not all that thrilled with it. I would actually rate the trail as hard based on the downed trees.
